Hi all, i would like to know of any Nigerian's experience/timeline while applying for the SINP family sponsorship. We (I, spouse and children) are sending in our application in some days and would like to hear a Nigerian's first hand experience and timeline. Do we need to include children's transcripts and ALL professional certificates?

Many thanks for good response.

SINP family is when you or your spouse has a close relative who lives in Saskatchewan and they are ready to sponsor your family for PR.  Both of you have to meet some requirements of the program to qualify.  See http://www.saskimmigrationcanada.ca/family-members/ for more information.

For the original poster who probably isn't watching this space any more because the post is 6 months old, the processing times for PNP can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/perm/provincial.asp and the processing visa office for your country if your country doesn't have one can be found here: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp  (for Nigeria it is Accra for PR applications and their processing time is 11 months).  Those processing times are just for the PR application though.  You would also need to find out from SINP how long it takes them to issue a nomination before you can apply for PR.
