NIGERIA APPLICANT PLEASE LET US NETWORK.

<< < (1719/1720) > >>

goldenapple:

I have a friend (Oct 2009 applicant) that just received a response requesting for MR but not EMR. What does this mean since most people recently receive EMR and the email reads,

* Please complete medical examinations as per the instructions which were posted to you on 28-02-2012. For a list of accredited doctors, please consult http://www.cic.gc.ca/dmp-md/medical.aspx

Also, he has a new kid that he wants to add to the Application.
What are the things that he needs to do urgently? The kid was born in the US this year with US passport and also entitled to Naija Pali since the parents are Naijas. Which of these two Pali will he need to submit in the application? Will he need to submit another proof of funds? Should he proceed with the medicals without adding the baby and sort out the baby later? So many questions; what should he do?

Yes, he can add the new baby and pay for his/her visa processing and fill an additional family form. You must declare the dua citizenship of the baby. You can submit either of the US or Naija Pali depend on the one you are comfortable with or nationality you wish to claim for the baby. Yes you will need to submit another proof of funds if there are changes in your family size. Go ahead with the medical and must advise CIC about the change in the family size.

Foreign Skilled Worker Backlog Reduction Initiative

Under this strategic initiative, people who have applied to Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Program may receive expedited processing of their immigration request under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

To be eligible for the FSW Backlog Reduction Initiative you must have received a letter of invitation from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
FSW INITIATIVE TO REDUCE THE BACKLOGS
Deadline: Manitoba will not accept applications under this initiative after June 30, 2012. Only complete applications (which include all documents specified in your letter of invitation) will be accepted.

The MPNP has launched this strategic initiative in partnership with CIC as a means to alleviate the backlog of applicants under the CIC Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Note: If you applied to the FSW Program and have not received a letter of invitation from CIC to apply to this MPNP Strategic Initiative, you may wish to review the MPNP requirements to determine if you are eligible to apply in one of our other streams.

To any who cant wait for CIC to invite them under MPNP, I would advise that you can request for a letter for invitation to apply for FSW strategic initiative program from Manitoba government. If you didnt choose Manitoba as your province of destination in your FSW application, you may not receive a letter from CIC to apply under this scheem unless you show your interest in making Manitoba a destination. Or those who choose Manitoba as destination would be the first to receive an invitation to apply from CIC. (My opinion)

@           2004 and 2005 family, there is no cause for alarm. Stay cool. Your application will be dealth with within a timeline of 8- 10 years.
@          2006- 2008, I will advise you look into any of the PNP streams programs. Alternatively, fill a new application forms and change the destination on your appplication form either to Manitoba or Saskatchewan. These two province are easily dealth with expedited processing timeline by VO FSW. Chosen these 2 provinces do not mean that you are a PNP, you will still maintain your FWS status and can leave and land in any of the provinces.

Feel free to contact the MPNP office by e-mail at immigratemanitoba     @     gov.mb.ca. to communicate your interest in undertaking a strategic initiative under which Federal Skilled Worker applicants may be invited to receive faster processing through the MPNP.

Hello Friends,
Please can someone help me advised me on the step i want to take.
I am a Nigerian leaving in Finland. I sent my full documents with application for FSW to CIO in Canada on 15th Feb 2012 and after three weeks that the reviewed my application the returned it back on 8th March 2012 telling me that my application was not eligible for further processing due to the reason that my past employer has not demonstrated well in the reference letter that I have full experience on the NOC 6241 "Chef" that I applied for by not telling them the duties and responsibilities that I performed during my working period with my past employer.
To this end, I have contacted my past employer in Nigeria through phone and explained to him about the issue and he promised to re-write the reference letter with the format that I got as directed by the CIO for the FSW application supporting documents on NOC experience.
Please i would like to resubmit my application back to CIO Canada for further review of my application once i get the refernce letter from my former employer from Nigeria,
I hope re-sending back my application to CIO would not cost me any harm or further suspicious from the FSW authority.
Please I need advice on this matter urgently based on the step that i want to take.
Honorable Matthew U Okorie

Let your employer be careful not to dub the description given by CIC. They (Your employer) should simply state what you were doing while with them. That way it may fly. All the best.

Good morning Nigeria!!!! It promises to be a good week for us all. I subscribed to the e-cas tracker and just this morning I received an alert that, a new line has been added to my e-cas. I logged on to check and saw this;

We received your application for permanent residence on August 30, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on December 15, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on June 29, 2011.

Medical results have been received.

Please note that my address is still showing, and at no time did it disappear since December 2011, when my final test results were sent to
to the RMO in Paris.
