Please, lets make a couple of 2012 updates with timelines where possible;

2.
3. Kscider
4. Tokzeees
5. Please add other names

MR/RPRF
1. NAME NAMES
Ladapo4luv

PPR

Also, I would like to know if it's possible that CIC would ask for additional documents after IN PROCESS.
Hello Lada,
I find your updates helpful. Can you add the recent MRs as well?

Gentlemen and Ladies

I think 1200 visa quota allocated to Accra is fair and better than last year 700 for FSW
What this means is that a total of 1200 persons under the FSW( APPLICANTS AND DEPENDANTS) will received their visas this year.
Mathematically, about 500 FSW cases may be processe taking into cognizance the fact that some applicants like PA ,BABA AND GRAND PA MUFU, may have more than 1 to 13 dependants

On the issue of the Backlogs, the MPNP state that an applicant must receive an invitation from CIC to apply( I wanted to apply immediately)

Congratulations to all applicants who have received MR

On Bro Awoderu, his next post on this forum will be to tell us that he has landed in Alberta- Congrats brother

Still on the Backlog reduction
Please find below some useful information.

Foreign Skilled Worker Backlog Reduction Initiative

Under this strategic initiative, people who have applied to Canada's Federal Skilled Worker Program may receive expedited processing of their immigration request under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

To be eligible for the FSW Backlog Reduction Initiative you must have received a letter of invitation from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).

Deadline: Manitoba will not accept applications under this initiative after June 30, 2012. Only complete applications (which include all documents specified in your letter of invitation) will be accepted.

The MPNP has launched this strategic initiative in partnership with CIC as a means to alleviate the backlog of applicants under the CIC Federal Skilled Worker Program.

Note: If you applied to the FSW Program and have not received a letter of invitation from CIC to apply to this MPNP Strategic Initiative, you may wish to review the MPNP requirements to determine i

1200 visas will be shared among the 10 countries, which means each country will be having 120 visas allocated each country. Then, the 120 visas will be shared between the princpal applicants and their dependance. Imaging people having 5-13 family members accompanying the pricipal applicants, it doesnt
take time before the visas is done. 120 visas allocation is not enough for nigerians at all. That is why many of us are facing a delay in receiving the PR.

Just thinking aloud, Pa TheJackson, do we need to wait for such invitation letter from CIC/Accra before applying?

Try and look back  at my mail where i mentioned how to apply for MPNP. You will have to write a letter of interest to choose manitoba as your destination, fill in online form supported with the requested documents and request for a Letter of invitation to Manitoba. If you receive this letter, then you can submit the letter to accra, There you go, you will get your visa less than 6 months.

YOU SHOULD ALSO NOTE THAT APPLYING FOR MANITOBA MEANS YOU ARE NO MORE WISH TO IMMIGRATE UNDER FSW BUT PNP.  You only land in manitoba and live there for 3 years before you can move to another destination

The backlogs issue only apply yo pre 2008. If you are pre june 2010 you will still be selected for FSW
