Hello All,

Welcome to a New Month of favours (Ps 5:12;30:5) In Jesus Name Amen. Congrats to members with PPR, MR and In-Process status. Lets remain expectant of great news in this month of March. Mandie, job well done! You've been very active in responding to queries

My address disappeared from e-cas since tuesday 28th Feb and I expect e-MR this month. Congrats in advance to as many that would receive positive status change(PER, In-Process, e-MRs, PPRs) in this month.

Cheers

If you have a dom account with GTB this will not be an issue. They can issue a draft in canadian dollars to you and it takes less than 24 hours to process. All you need do is pay the USD equivalent of the amount and then issue an instruction for a canadian draft.
I did the same this January when I added the details of my new baby.
Hope this helps?

very urgent reply is needed please.
Hi vikolo,

i am FSW1 3112 pre-june ,my question is did ghana request that your add your baby or you just took the initiative to do it bcos i am indecisive on what to do concerning mine, although they are obviously aware but have not requested that i add him formally.

Hello my brothers and sisters,

Congrats to members with PPR, MR and In-Process status. By the special grace of God, we are all marching forward this month.

It seems this disappearing act of addresses finally makes sense to me. Not been on the forum or to eCas this week but I just noticed now that my address is no longer on e-cas; Not sure of the exact date of disappearance though. I believe e-MR is coming my way this month.

Once again, congratulations to everyone.

Sincerely,
GoldenApple

since is a Gtb mastercard, u will surely receive an alert once your account is debited
GoodLUCK my friend
Are u sure about this. Because I once had issue with GTB Mastercard. I almost get stranded in a strange land. And during my application submission to CIO I had to withdraw my application and then get a VISA card which I used.
The reason then was that the cards are being migrated to chips and pins one from the initial that are easily compromised.

News Release – Minister Kenney outlines vision of a fast and flexible immigration system

Toronto, March 1, 2012 - In a keynote address to the National Metropolis Conference today, Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister Jason Kenney outlined his vision for a faster, more responsive immigration system that better meets Canada's economic needs.

“Immigration is playing an increasingly important role in our economy and we need a system that does a better job of attracting the people who have the skills that are in demand and getting them here quickly,” said Minister Kenney. “We have made some great strides towards an immigration system that is fast and flexible, but know that there is more work to do.”

In his speech, the Minister highlighted recent changes to the Federal Skilled Worker Program, where current applicants must have experience in one of 29 occupations in demand, or have a job offer in Canada.

He also noted the growing success of the Canadian Experience Class, which allows certain foreign students and temporary foreign workers to translate their Canadian work and education experience into permanent residence. And he lauded the growth of provincial and territorial nominee programs, noting the role they have played in spreading the benefits of immigration across the country and addressing long-term regional labour needs.

While recognizing these improvements, the Minister indicated that more challenges lie ahead in seeing his vision realized. He noted, for instance, that the current points system used to assess federal skilled worker applicants needs to be more flexible and intelligent. It should place greater emphasis on the importance of language, he said, while recognizing that the language ability needed to successfully integrate in Canada is different for a doctor as opposed to a welder. It should also place greater emphasis on younger workers with high quality credentials that can be recognized quickly.

The Minister pledged to do a better job of attracting entrepreneurs and investors to Canada, noting that we lag behind the U.S., where half of the top 50 venture-capital backed companies are founded by immigrants.

While noting progress to date, he also promised to do more to reduce the legacy of backlogs, where there are wait times of seven years or longer in some categories. Kiss

“It makes no sense to tell people ‘apply now, but put your life on hold for a few years before we'll even let you know if you qualify, Kiss'” said the Minister. “I will continue to make changes to create a faster, Cool more flexible immigration system. Canadians need and deserve a system that boldly puts Canada's best interests first.”

Hope this STARTS NOW. Got ds from cic website .
