Either of you can go, if your wife is representing you, you will need to give her a letter of authority.
Note: Immigrant visas are issued only on mondays from 8am.
Congratulations to you and cerruti, I wish you all the best in canada.

Congratulations Sanusiremi

You can go alone. There is no need to go to Accra with your wife and baby. But if you want to trip then to Ghana, that is never a crime.

 @ everyone.
I thank you all for ur support during my medical in july 2011, during which
my wife was unable to complete her own due to the pregnancy she was carrying
then. Thank God she delivered few moment ago. I wish to know what should be
my immediate cause of action now that the baby has arrived savely. Do I notify them
immediately through a mail or call the DMP here in Lagos for her chest x-ray or complete
the form for the new baby and make payment and other documentation, send it and
wait for a reply from cic. Honestly I am confused on what the immediate step should be...
I urgently need help from experience members.
Thank you.

Thanks alot my people.

I am in the UK (Bristol).

Just considering the best options to pick up our visas, obviously considering travel cost ,work and family committments.
Does anyone have information on using prepaid courier return?, is it a reliable way of getting passports back and how long does it take the visa office to send the passports back?.

Many thanks for your prompt response.
