- how old is the child?
- with cic, some things are best left out of the application especially in this case since the child isnt accompanying you and i guess you and your ex are not really on the best of terms?
- if the child is of age, s/he should be able to find time to come to come with you for the medicals and take pictures. if the child is a minor and with your ex, then this may be sticky for you at cic
- i think that if all supplications fail, you may need to write a letter showing evidence that your ex-spouse is not cooperating and that is the reason you are unable to provide what is needed.

of course this is my personal (not expert) opinion and something more useful may come up from someone else on this forum

Thanks a bunch.

Hello all,

Please I need information and advice concerning proof of funds. I am the principal applicant but my spouse has more money in the account than me. Can we use my spouse's bank details for proof of funds since we bear the same surname and there is proof that we are married, or is it better to  transfer from my spouse's account to mine to present as POF?

Yesm you can add your wife's bank statement as proof of funds as it is one application. there is no need to transfer to your account.
