I am just coming from the licensing office. From what I gathered from them, it is better for her to start with G2 and forget about the Nigerian D License.
I am impressed that Nigeria is improving forward in this respect. This will give our documents some credibility.

So, in my case, I have diploma in RM & RN in Naija, do I apply for RPN (in Ontario)? Pls, assist me with correct information. Regards.

When it comes to professional licensing and stuff like that, the best place to go is the website of the regularory body and ask them questions when you unsure about something...a little bit of research won't hurt....

Yes, you have to have a degree but instead of spending 4 years in the university, you will spend 3 years if you  have had a nursing degree/certificate + experience from 9ja or you can apply for a fast track program in nursing. Also you must pass the national nursing examination and be certified before you can be allowed to practice. RPN is a diploma course from any of the ontario colleges, you need to go to University to become RN

Kindly find out from them if they can make do with International Driving License or Report,if yes I can assist you by going to Police Division Headquarters at Moloney and thereafter hand it over to my friend that will be leaving Nija for Calgary on 27th of this month.

I could remember  that in year 2006, I assisted my kid brother that school in Uk with this. This is the mile I can go buddy?

Canada requires a National DL which can be authenticated by the Nigerian embassy in Canada before you can apply for a fast track DL. If you cannot show a proof of driving experience at least 2-3 years you wont be able to apply for G2 exit and full G  exit licences. You will only be given a G1 licence, which means you have a one year waiting period before you can apply for your G2 exit or Full G exit licence
