@ Right. Na waah for you. Mayoress knows what am talking about. The spelling is an addition. No be only ugwu paper we will use it for but for all our kaya.
If we like we can use Pantaker.
@ Awoderu. You mean observers at Canada Border Services are worried about ajala's going in and out? So what shall we do. If we have things that can buy us house cash down here instead of years of savings out there? I think they should be contented with the sales tax that applies. If our man leaves his O&G job here. Are they going to provide him with another one out there immediately. So I think they should allow people to settle down at their pace. Or better still get visitor's visa. GBAM.

As Canadian Resident, you are entitled to a lot of aids. You cannot be enjoying from it if you are not contributing to it - Canada's belief. Canada has one of the highest tax rate in the world if not the highest with tax rate of about 40% even higher than that of UK. When you do a work of about 600 dollars in a month about 250 dollars goes to the government in form of tax which are used to provide for the senior citizen, daycare supplement for kids going to daycare, monthly money given to children under 18, educational grants and loans etc, Health care for everyone - Kids under 18 get free dental check and cleaning, eye check-up and provision of glasses if needed. All this are applicable to Alberta, not sure it is like that in other provinces. Canada operates a conservative economy so there are no super wealthy people. If you are working outside Canada you will not be paying tax to them except you declare you income in Canada and pay the tax which i doubt most people do. Which is what Canada is trying to avoid. I doubt if anyone can be working outside Canada and be coming in for regular visit and meet up with the 3 years of the 5 years to be eligible for a citizenship or PR renewal. It would be sad to just lose the PR just like that. This flying in and out thing only applies to PR. Once you are a citizen then you can go in and out as you so wish. @ Jackson, I will keep you posted on my transaction with IOM. Please do also put the amount for one person that way it is easier for us to evaluate it.

I am sure u will prefer Luft. What time of the year are u likely to move all thing being equal? That will determine. Tickets are going to be expensive now. Sep -Nov will be fine for you and your family. Cheers

Diamond x is MI 1, application date is what determines under what MI your application will be treated.

CONGRATULATIONS. Please share your timeline. Your are surely going to be among the 55,000 that will get the ugwu leave this year.
Hi my fellow Nigerian. Please I am a newbie in this forum; I just want someone to please enlighten me on how best i can immigrate to Canada. I am a graduate of textile science and technology- BSC. I have already about ten years work experience in textile quality control. Now i am interested in immigrating to Canada, but don't even know where to start. I have filled form to verify if I qualify through some other channel. Really, I do not have anybody or friends in Canada. I have filled out assessment form with lawyer David Cohen, according to him he cannot represent me for a Canadian immigration application, because I have not had a strong enough point s that can qualify me for a Canadian Permanent Resident Visa unless I have a permanent full time job offer from a Canadian employer which may make me to be eligible for immigration to Canada under the Federal Skilled Worker category through Arranged employment. Please I have very little knowledge about this. Is it possible for me to be employed by a Canadian employer when I do not have the opportunity of attending interview in Canada? Apart from this , can any employer want to go through the rigorous step, when they have to proof to human resource council of Canada that he has advertised the job for certain months without having any Canadian to apply for it? Please, my fellow forumite, kindly enlightens me. And let me know the steps I will take to submit an application for this with all the money I will need to finance this. THAK U for taking your precious time to go through this GOD BLESS U.

The first place to begin this journey is www.cic.gc.ca after you must have exhausted the materials there, you may ask for one clarification or the other here. However as it stands today, your occupation is not listed on the current ones. So you may need to wait, perhaps it may. There are several other method you could explore for immigration purpose. Provincial Nominee Program, Quebec Skill Worker, Education e.t.c.
