For some inexplicable reason, the general assumption is that everyone who writes in this forum is a man until the person proves otherwise. Shocked

This is so staggering Huh Huh
Why is it so? Women don't write or shouldn't write in social networking forums, maybe? Or maybe they shouldn't be spearheading the immigration discussions of their families?
Or maybe, women don't generally make good writers? Men make better writers, perhaps?
Any other reasons? Huh Huh
Any takers? Lips sealed Lips sealed

I bet Smiley
Wasn't trying to misquote you; just stating my general observation of various conversations in the forum in general!
And actually, I think it was  @  Tinu that mentioned the word, husband. So there! Diamond X can still be the man you think him to be.
Cheers!

  @   Spokes,

I think it has more to do with your sign on name, if you address yourself as Spokes, angel, blonde, etc im not sure people will assume you are a man also, if you call youreself emperor, Naija pikin, tiger etc, i also doubt if people will assume you are a woman until you confirm otherwise................

Spokes, I disagree with your assertions. The names "Spokes" sounds so masculin and many of us were taken by suprised when you showed up and introduced yourself as Babe Spokes....The rest is history. Apart from yourself I don't think any other person mistakingly addressed a "Babe" or "Momo" as "Pa" except me that called Jada a Pa! Tongue

As far as this forum is concerened, I think the women are even better writer ( Grin) than the men...Take for example yourself and so many others. 2ndly, your folks are better arrangers when it comes to organising the meeting, no wonder we appointed a Chairlady to be in the forefront of the Eagles. We recognise and respect you o. Our mummies! Grin Grin

My those us aboard flight MR2012 board our connecting flight PR2012 soonest and those awaiting visa to board flight MR2012 and eventually taking connecting flight PR2012 get it soonest In Jesus Name.

  @  Jackson, Mama dee

God knows best and may things work out for the best In Jesus Name
My country pple,

I just noticed an update to my Ecas status. It probably must have been updated last week because i have not had time over the past couple of months to come online frequently.

My Medical results has been received by AVO.

@  Vikolo, you do not have to make any reference to previous PCC. Just go to Alagbon like you are going to obtain a PCC for the first time and get it.

@  thejackson, it means it is cheaper to have the Medicals done in Abuja if kids are charge N4000. At Asaju the rate is flat for everyone even my almost a year old son paid same rate as we the adults.

@  pa awoderu, congratulations on the receipt of your medical.

I did mine as well at asaju, does the 28k include the courier fees? Pls how can one know if the medical as been received, will it reflect when one logs in to cic site.
I tried logging on last week and the last post was inprocess although we
Received mail for MR more than a month ago
My husband and I did our MR at different days, like a month apart due to
Some personal issues, I hope that won't be a problem?
Last question is, I am new on this forum and I can't see where to start a thread or areply peoples thread. Pls peeps can u give me a step by step guide on how to do that? Thanks and God bless.
NB we are pre-june 2010 fsw.
