My people pls i need your advice. I just got this mail (find below) from Accra yesterday. My main issue is with POF. I have withdrawn part of the fund. My fear is if i should start paying huge amount into my account now won't it look fictitious?
All other requested Documents have been sent before, I am surprised they are requesting for them all over again.
You candid advice is highly needed at the critical moment.

This refers to your application for permanent residence in Canada, under the Skilled Worker category. In order to continue the processing of your application, we require the following:

·         Proof of unencumbered and readily transferable funds in a convertible currency available for settlement in Canada (for you and your family members). Please provide bank statements from the past 12 months. These funds must be available for you and your dependants, whether they are accompanying or not. On the POF, VO wants to be sure that the money belongs to you and not borrowed for the purpose of obtaining Visa. If there are huge inflows into the account, i suggest you put up a cover note to explain to the VO how it happened. if you sold your assets to make the deposits, you should be able to show evidences. Please do not give the VO any reason to believe that the money is borrowed.

In any case please do not borrow because you actually need the money to kick-start your life in CA once the visa is issued!

On the transcript, if you have sent it before now,you would have used either UPS,DHL or Fedex. Please send the tracking sheet to them to enable them track it from their own end. If you do not have the tracker, i advise you get another Transcript

on the letters oof employment, confirm if you sent the original or photocopy. If you sent photocopies, this is the time to send the original copies. if you sent the originals, then provide them with the tracking sheet.

on the Police cert, please send an updated one. the one you sent earlier may have expired.

Kindly ensure you have it sent on or before your File Brought Forward Day( B'FD) to enable them review and start processing  your File,timely . This will indeed alert of your MR thereafter.

Omoelle, we used the four at different times, UPS, DHL, FEDEX and EMS, I whould advise UPS OR DHL,  we actually used fedex for our additional documents they delayed few days, UPS is good and cheaper while DHL is also good but more expensive, I would advise UPS because they will deliver in time and at cheaper rate.

i checked my ECAS today and and thank GOD Almighty, a line appeared stating .....'your application was reveiwed and we started processing on Feb 1, 2012'. . This assures me that my application has passed the stress test after all the additional documents request.

Eg from abt 5 different accounts or should the accounts be collapse and funds moved to abt 2.
