Yes, the reply is as below: Hello Please be advised that as you have not obtained registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Canada or the USA, you are considered an International nurse and you are required to go through assessment. Internationally educated nurses are assessed at NorQuest College (Edmonton AB) or Bow Valley College (Calgary AB). NorQuest and Bow Valley College are educational facilities and they will evaluate your education to determine your eligibility to become an LPN in Alberta. The CLPNA does not assess International Nurses. Contact information for both colleges is available at the link below. Momo Ig, hmmm....I hope I could explain in details. I started writing immediately after I knew I won't be able to make it, suddenly I just decided to delete it Gbam!  I explained to momo Tinu becos she called me regularly even when she was outside. We thank God for the responses and the fact that many forumites are really appreciating and contributing to the success of the programme. I will work harder not to miss the next one IJN, Insha Allah.  I sent a specific enquiry to Accra yesterday, waiting for their reply. Gbam! |

Congrats for the joy of a baby. How is the baby's passport application going? Are you waiting for Naija's Passport or British? If it is Naija's passport, you have to follow it up carefully and seriously.
I was in the same position during our medicals. We waited as well. After delivery, Nigerian High Commission told us to wait for >6months to get his passport. They said it was the procedure. Someone came to our rescue and the rest are history.
