As for Montreal, its time  went back one-hour today. and we were asked to manually adjust our wall/wrist watches to reflect the change.. is this also happening in other parts of Canada?
Althogh it gets quite dark pretty fast here ( between 5:30pm-6pm) everywhere is already dark...
trust me, am still trying to wrap my brain around the backward timing thing cos its strange

I think it is time for us to make a case to increase the visa target/quota for accra visa office.Based on research we have the 9th largest volume in the backlog, the second longest wait times behind Damascus and the least number of fsw visa targets.accra target for 2011 is 700 against Hong Kong 3500, new delhi 7500, manila 3000, london 17500 and buffalo 7500. If we can get accra quota increased to 1500, it should cut our wait time by more than a few months.if the house agrees, we can draft the letter asap. Let me know your thoughts on this.

Been a follower of this blog for a while, I was in Accra last week Monday to pick my visa and that of my wife. We should be landing sometimes in December. Anybody with useful information on the following

1. Cheap short stay accommodation In Calgary and Ontario e.g website

2. what is the required Proof of funds for two people at the entry point.


If you are on the waiting list, please hang in there it takes a a while, ours took two years, we started our application September 2009.
