Irving I was hoping that my friend would have a moment of clairty but this morning it was still there!! I saw them just before bed last night and feel the same way. They are burned in my brain and all I could think about was the people who maybe didn't know they knew the victims and had to come across those pictures.  Sad

Mrs Proper : That thought crossed my mind that maybe he didn't know yet. Then when HE posted the video and people were asking him to "tag him in the dead pics" it was too much for me. What is our world coming to?!

Does anyone have any guesses as to when  I might hear something from Kingston?Huh?  They have had our papers since Sept. 7th, 2010, all of the medicals were done, paid the PR fee......I am getting so discouraged......I sent tons of photos showing our 5 years of being together, thousands of dollars in phone bills, western union costs...What more do they want?  I am so discouraged. Sad

jaruby, we all had a day when we are at that "enough now!!!! period, I think yesterday was Lilmaya day, i think ramdont is there has been there for so long, girl i wish we could tell you a day, actually we could but it would be make believe, Kg is so unpredictible, on our AOR they said 6-8 months, we never heard from them till 13months requesting redo, I watch ppl who sent in their apps in sept got through and I was still wating, at one time all who sent there apps in feb got call except me, i was so jealous, and felt so fedup, what i do to keep me sane is put in my mind that the website said 16months, and position my mind for that.

its hard and fraustrating, overwhelming and the worst thing is we have no controll over this situation,

my best advice is pray even when it seems like prayers are not heard just keep praying and trust God to keep you until the storms passes over.

just try not to stress tooo much because the grey hair has no respect for age.

you will be next!!!!

I have a question about the process.....My application says started processing on March 17, Medical results received....Does anyone know what is the next step??? I am very curious I know Kingston has thier own system going on there but just out of curiosity can someone share their views.

Well Happy Friday Everyone and I know were going to have some good news comming up this week....

do you live or are u frm quebec, i this is for quebec ppl,

A person's civil status is his or her name, filiation and marital status. Acts of civil status exist for birth, marriage and death. Since 1994, only civil status documents issued by the Directeur de l'état civil  are recognized by the law.

Can-Indy-Jam : Welcome back! I hope you enjoyed your trip and time with hubby! From past trends it seems as if the next time may be a request of the original documents, an interview request... or hopefully a passport drop off call! I know I am anxiously awaiting your next step too (  Tongue ) because in theory... and take this with a grain of salt... my date is the next one on our thread directly after yours as my application was submitted to Mississauga November 1st. I know there are a ton of people who submitted their applications in September though, who's status has yet to change so only God knows what will happen next!!

Good morning fam,

So I read this book last night called "Heaven is Real". It is the story of a pastor's family who's small child (4 yr old) had been very ill and in the hospital with an emergency surgery in which they almost lost their child. Over the next few months/years the child began to tell stories of while in surgery leaving his body...seeing his parents in the hospital (and telling them where and what they were doing while he was on the operating table) going to heaven (meeting family members that had passed away long before he was born and knew nothing about).
Anyway... it was a great book but i just wanted to share with you some inspriation that i got out of that book. The child had told his dad that he was gone for 3 minutes i think it was. But the things he did and saw in 3 minutes would be equivalent to weeks here. We have to remember that God is on his time, not ours. He hears our prayers..He WILL reunite is with our loved and what seems like an eternity of being apart right now, is in reality MONTHS. We are pregnant for 9 LONG months before we meet our little angels!! Feels long but how many memories do you carry of the time we spend apart as opposed to the time since they came in to our lives. We will look back on this time apart one day and barely remember this struggle. Try to stay positive my fam... keep your eyes on the prize... we will get through this!!!

Welcome to Jaruby and BBBB !!!  I hope you will stay and continue to share your stories and frustrations with us. We are all learning a lot from eachothers different circumstances and find support in sharing our struggles with people who actually know exactly what we are going through!!

Morning Newbies....I hope all is well with everyone.

Lilmaya, your words this morning are very inspiring and uplifting to my soul,I really needed to hear them.  I think at times we forget to take a step back and look at whole picture and not just a part of it....I have been so paranoid the last few days after hearing how everyone else put their packages together and thinking there are  so many things I did not do...like my hubby did not write a letter about our relationship because I wrote a one page synopsis about it which I thought would be good enough for whole package.  I totally did not label our pics because I though they would only be interested in seeing us together in pics....I did not send phone cards (which I still have) I bought but sent my phone records because he could not get his from digicel.  So I am now second guessing the support docs on his part.  I guess the worse case scenario will be them asking for an interview and I know we are good if it comes down to that.

Lonely I hope you are feeling better today.

Well i did part 1 of the package and my hubby did part 2 all on his own. He wrote pages and pages of stuff and he developed pictures and labelled them himself as i did my own as well. I think we sent in 75 pictures, cards, phone records (only sent 5 mths worth) We have a daughter so i dont think they would question if we kept in contact or not. Even sent in pictures that my 9 year old daughter drew for him. I think overloading them with evidence might make them think yer trying to hard as well. Hopefully them seeing that my hubby did his side of the paperwork will work to our advantage. Time will tell, hopefully we will hear something soon!!

ladyposh: It is so hard to look at the big picture... some days harder than others and I too find that I constantly need to find different ways to remind myself to just back it out. We WILL have our families together, we just need to stay strong. I would bet that the people who's applications where hundreds of pages and the people who had just a few, suffer with the same anxieties. Never knowing if what we did was enough or even if it was correct!  It is just so hard completely surrending control over something that is so important....our families! The worse case scenario is he gets an interview and like you said.. you are fully prepared with phone cards and more back up documentation than they will even want to see i'm sure.. and we can all take comfort knowing that no legally married couple on the history of KNG forum has ever been declined. So it's not a matter of IF... it's WHEN!!
