ok guys so listen to this...my girlfriend has a friend in Ja who got married to a woman here in Canada about 3 years ago....Immigration apparently asked for the woman's original divorce certificate and she took a very long time to send it in.. Anyways he finally gets an appt for an interview and when he went this week he was told that we was never really married because his so called wife was never divorced when they got married....OH my goodness that poor man...Can you imagine after 3 years and to be told that you are being turned down because your wife was not divorced when you got married....I would just die... I mean I was married for 12 years and seperated for about 8yrs and my divorce came thru in June and I got remarried in Feb. She is a terrible person because she could have just waited the time for the divorce to go thru and then re=marry. She chose to marry under false pretence and I guess hoped that immigration would not find out that her divorce came thru after her marriage.

ladyposh : It is hard to believe you talking about 12 years and 8 years. You must have married the first time when you were about 10 girl! Looking all young and fresh!
That is a horrible story. I can't imagine that man's heartbreak. Life is so short and to waste 3 years of your life like that and be back to square one. And they have to bring him in for an interview and be the ones to tell HIM his wife is not divorced! Scandalous!

lilmaya...i got married for the first time when i was 21...the biggest mistake of my life.....that is why I consider my hubby to be the 1st because the other one in my eyes does not count except for my 2 children!!!!!!

My girlfriend was getting married in JA, she had to postpone it 3 times waiting for her divorce to go through completely, what a %*&^*&!! I can not imagine a person going through that.. Ebony we were married in mobay, at tropical beach, i was glowing, becasue i was in mad crazy love.. and had a lil too much sun that day Gazzaa whitey...lmao.. sticks |

That is terrible.. I couldnt even imagine. I would not know how I would be feeling.... how do you go through with a marriage.. the sponsorship process... knowing you're still married? thats unforgivable!!

oh he is sweet sanchester... how old is he? my daughter is nearly 17, hubby and her chat it up! Thats on thing i love how well he has adjusted to being a step dad, she thinks he is so funny and caring, blended families can be a challenge but they work when all parties see the beauty of eachother!

I was married when i was 22 which obviously did not turn out (Thank God!) but looking back every path i've taken... whether it be the wrong or the right one... lead me exactly to where I am supposed to be. So while it was a mistake (!!) i wouldn't change a thing! Gaza Whitey: Sooo cute. How old is your son? I have a picture very similar to that. I think we should double date one day with our boys.
