Icesfluffy... Ecas is not reliable.... At times for us it showed things then would take them off then once my husband landed it took about 3 weeks to say he had landed in pearson... Its quite delayed and sometimes its computer systems updating everyone then removing the update.... I wouldnt trust ecas....

icesfluffy... if they need anything from you girl... they will call you, email or send something in the mail requesting the info needed... or they will contact hubby... most likely it will be hubby that they contact.... if you try to call the office in mississauga they wont be able to give you any info on your file because it is abroad and Kingston does not have a number you can call to inquire about your file. The only way is to email them but I tried emailing them several times during my process and I was unsuccessful some other people did get responses. (To be honest with you, I hate the lack of communication between immigration and the applicants as it's so frustrating at times... You can look at ecas and kidda base yourself on that but personally after I got a wrong update in feb. 2011 I didn't trust ecas too much after that)

Hey!!! congrats!!! if you brought a prepaid return slip from dhl then you don't have to worry about picking up nothing but if not then they will contact you for you to pick up your paper work... I know for my husband they didnt request a prepaid dhl return slip so he had to go back to get his papers and passport...
