Ladyposh-what a wonderful landing story! I'm so happy for you!

Jahlove-I was MIA yesterday cut off from all technology. I was in what we call a "marathon birth" (labour for 2 day) and just as I was wrapping up and discharging her home I got paged to attend another. My phone died and had no access to the forum, text msgs, phone calls etc. I was going insane asking everyone around me for iphone charger Huh. Got home last night at 1:00am and was busted but had to turn the laptop on to peep at the forum and check up on my family for updates. No updates from KG but glad to read my girl posh's landing story.

Calling MP today y'all!

Ebony i hope all goes well with ur call to the MP and u finally get some answers, really hope its good news for u can jus imagine how much u miss hubby he must be dying to see u. i totally agree with smoothies natural supplements are the way to go i use them and boy does it work, i am very suspicious about all those medicated stuff. i think they are made to keep us coming back and develop other illnesses. natural is the way to go girl.
LadyPosh im soooooooo haaaapppppyyy for you, enjoyurself girl its long overdue.

Ripley : There are days i'm not sure what I would do without this forum. I have learned so much, found a great support system and made some great friends. It is definitely a distraction on days I would otherwise just be waiting for the phone to ring..which I of course still do... but this forum makes it so much more enjoyable  Cheesy

Ok so here's the deal. called this am and the secretary stated that Kim (lady that deals with imm issues at MP office) was on the phone and that she'd pull my file and leave it on her desk. I waited until the end of the day and recieved no call so I actually went to office in person. I noticed Kim was pulling my file from a filing cabinet so i said to her "the secretary said she was going to leave it on your desk" She says "oh...i know I put it back"  Huh

That was my first clue that this is going to be an uphill battle. She had no answers for me whatsoever. No correspondence from anyone. She made a phone call while I waited and was able to speak to someone who basically told her everything we already know. app recieved July 20th and we are within normal limits. They didnt have info as to wether or not our med were recieved as Kim had to ask me when we did it. I suspect its because they were looking at ecas which doesnt say 'med recieved". Kim did ask the person at imm if we should go ahead and proceed to do redo of meds. Kim thinks I should wait for the request as it may expire again.  Shocked she stated that she would be willing to write kG and hopefully this will stimulate them to look at the file. She wants me to write a letter as well and she'll attached it to hers.
Question
if med expiring is the only concern with doing without a request then im willing to take that chance to avoid delays. Has anyone heard of someone doing meds redo before request? That is essentially the next step for us. In addition, Stategically I dont feel a letter from myself will help our case. I think a ltter from member of parliment in isolation will hold more weight than me expressing from an emotional perspective my desire to be with my husband. What do you all think? Should I write letter? do you think they would attach and accept the redo meds if he does it? I know ive asked the latter question before but since KIm asked I feel like it may be a possibility.

Lil maya i do understand where ur coming from and this forum as u say certainly helps everyone but in the case of waiting fo a phone call. my partner and i talk everyday but i call mostly and sometimes wonder if i call too much, i dont get answer sometimes but my partner is relieved to know tht missed calls are there from me. anyhow thats that.

Ebony what to say what to say  Sad i feel it for u girl ur experience is making me nervous of what to do in my situation. i was hoping u'd get some answers so i cud go ahead and call also.  Sad Sad Sad the both of us are  feeling it eeeh but i feel there is a bright light at the end of the tunnel and we are getting near it. In terms of letting hubby do the medical again? do you feel that him doing the medical will speed up the process if so then i would tell him to go do it right away but i dont think so. So i recommend u wait a little. if he inhales and exhales certain things then tell him to stay away from it cause u might have to do a medical soon ok.

Ebony: Oh boy oh boy and the stress continues. I really don't know how to advice since I am not familiar with this whole MP thing. But I think the letter coming from them would have more impact, secondly I think maybe you should hold off on doing the medical until further requested. Who knows maybe this call to them will actually ruffle some feathers, maybe you will now see movements on your file. I will continue to pray for you as I pray for myself honey, only God alone can fix this for you, since it's out of your hands. So sorry again that you didn't get the good news we hoped for you YET.

Goodnight

Good morning all.

Quote from today's Daily Bread - Hidden Sin

Scripture tells us: “Be sure your sin will find you out” (Num. 32:23), as this man who fled the accident discovered. We may sometimes be able to hide our sin from the people around us, but nothing is ever “hidden from [God's] sight” (Heb. 4:13). He sees each of our failures, thoughts, and motivations (1 Sam. 16:7; Luke 12:2-3).

Believers are given a wonderful promise: “If we confess our sins, [God] is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9). So don't let unconfessed, so-called “hidden” sins come between you and God (vv.6-7).

We cannot hide from God
No matter how we try;
For He knows all we think and do—
We can't escape His eye. —Hess

Sin may be hidden from others, but never from God.
