Wah gwan ladyposh...i'm here enjoying the sunshine and heading to work in an hour.
Enjoy the sunshine lil'maya I askd my son if he wanted go for walk to the post office which is 5 minnutes away and he said no. He'll come only if we take the car. These kids are so spoiled and lazy! Such I beautiful day enjoy!!!!

GOOD DAY all! thanks for the encouraging words everyone. I told hubby yesterday, and he thought i was joking, and yes.. the silence when he realized i wasnt.. AUgggggg.... awful! But by evening when he called he seemed himself, and light hearted again. Its so comforting EB knowing im not the only one in this stage, x....We move on!
Got my A$$ outta bed this morning, and went to the river valley with my bestie, she tried to kill me.. 500 stairs !! omg my legs are like butter, and my chest still wheezy! bahahaha the gym has nothing on theses stairs i swear! The only bonus is the fresh air, and amzing scenery! this is now my saturday routine, as my daughter is wrking saturday mornings downtown, so i drop her and go kill mi self on the damn stairs.. my a$$ and legs better love mi, and show it by firming up!

Ebony Believe me.. My son is the same way. If it doesn't involve television or PSP.. he's not interested. It was very hot and very humid so i think dem lazy kids may have been on to something today!!  I just didn't want it to be a day where we sat inside and didn't get to enjoy the sun but man.. the time was HOT! Sounds like the rest of the weekend is going to be mixed with rain but still nice and warm. Summer is well on it's way!! Irving: That is a great routine to get into! You will notice a difference in no time i'm sure. I wish i could get motivated to do some more aerobic stuff outdoors. I think without structure .. i just don't stay motivated. I need either an instructor or a motivating workout buddy! Go get it girl! Posh: ONE WEEK!! Dem closets clean?!

Question:
Been perusing the site a bit, and I would love for curiositys sake as obviously this will eventually be relevant, to know what happens once you get called for your passport. I've been reading about landing interviews and what not???
I had thought once I recieved the passport back I could just book a flight and my family could head over to Canada and start our new life.
Is there more to it than that?

hey Everyone Just enjoying some ol time flicks and thought I'd share this one as it is somewhat relevant! It was released in 1988 and her Jamaican accent stinks but I love the storyline all the same. Its called Milk and Honey- about a woman who leaves Jamaica to work as a domestic worker in Toronto and quickly finds out that the life here in Canada is not what its made out to be. I used to watch this when I was younger with my mother and found the whole movie on youtube. It means you've met the relevant criteria for entry into Canada and therefore can be fairly sure that the process has finally ended. Everyone that enters into Canada including citizens are subject to Q&A and interviews but so far on the forum it has been minimal questions and more welcoming in nature for those family members being sponsored. |

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE ( on behalf of our beautiful friend Sanchester) Sanchester got an ECAS update today (YAY KNG ...working even on the holiday!!) that says IN PROCESS as of May 20th and MEDICAL'S RECEIVED!! Sooooooo... I think we can expect 2 early morning Tuesday calls!! Togir2011 and Sanchester...wait let's make that 3 cause you know they are gonna try Mr. Ebonyshine one more time!! Thankful the extra day of rest today but SO ready to get a start on this work week!! LET'S GO KNG!!! (that felt so good, i can't wait to do an update for myself!! )
