My husband and I met on an airplane coming back from Jamaica to Toronto. I saw him in the airport as soon as he walked in and was in lust right away. he brought a bottle of water to this white girl with braids sitting down so i was heartbroken and tried not to look again. he gave her the water but then sat with one seat between them and they didn't talk so i thought maybe they were not at the very least unhappy   We kept looking at eachother so i got a book out and pretended to read so i could try to be less conspicuous and stop getting caught. we boarded the plane and my son and i sat in row 3 seats a and b. The gorgeous stranger came on with the white girl in front of him but she kept walking and he started putting his bag above the overhead compartment in front of us. he looked at me and smiled and said hi. i was SOOOO happy. He sat in row 2 c so we talked all the way home from to toronto. at the airport we he carried our bags for us, we exchanged numbers.. he called me that night and we talked on the phone for hours. we met for a lunch date the next day and it's been LOVE ever since...aside from my son he is the best thing that has ever happened to me!

Except when he talks to me like i shouldn't have passed Grade 1

I knew there was a major update when I saw 38 posts since my last read!!! Ramdont I am so happy for you and your daughter. Its finally over! God is good and the prayers that are going out are moving mountains! The presence of the Lord is in this place and I feel the updates will flow one by one soon and very soon.

i do have questions Ramdont...did your MP call KG to inquire on your behalf or did KG volunteer the update to your MP? Did he/she say what the delay was? I'm I correct in that you didn't contact your MP again, you were waiting until next week right? Just trying to figure out my next move once I order Caips. Hopefully it wont be too much longer for us!

Proper nice to see you in the place! And waiting thanks again for the beautiful prayer this morning. I really do need to be with my husband right now. One of his best friend, who was a groomsman in our wedding fell asleep at the wheel and has suffered a collapsed lung, internal bleed and brain swelling. keep him in your prayers everyone. My husband is devestated It times like these that we realise how hard the distance is.

On a lighter note....enjoying the conco between you guys lilmaya and proper....better than a movie lol

Hoping for some updates for you ladies.

Well funny enough i met my wife in a yahoo chatroom... i tell her all the times that we were just meant to be cause nothing about us is normal. I was at a bad place in life then and i was really bitter from what my ex had done to me, to be honest and i dont mean to sound like a total ass right now but i didnt have a positive mindset towards women other than the ones i was related to at that point. i just wanted to hurt the whole lot of them.
So happens i got a computer not too long after and my boy introduced me to yahoo messenger and chat rooms. I'd be on there flirting like flirting was going out of style, believe me, i was pretty devious and slick too.

I remember one night i went in one of the afro caribbean rooms with my usual bad intentions but despite all my flirting and everything i felt depressed that night. I was running through the names in the room when i came upon this one (sxy*censored word*). clicked on her but she didnt have no pic, just an avatar. i went on to introduce myself... hi, asl.. all that stuff. I don't remember exactly what i said to her next but her response brought the the only smile my face would produce that entire day. For some reason, only god knows.. i didnt flirt with this girl, i didnt try to come off slick or nothing. We spent that entire night talking, nothing sexual or remotely rude and i was really loving the convo.... forgot to mention she was white too... not really what i expected to find in a chat room for island folks.

I couldnt wait to get online the next day to talk to her again and i believe thats the first time i saw a pic of her and not an avatar. She was beautiful, not sure if this makes sense since there's no white people living on my block but this girl had that fine girl next door look about her, she didn't look superficial one bit and i liked that.  I remember her showing me this one pic in particular of her daughter, her niece and her nephew too... anways from then on it was like i race to get on the computer everyday so we could talk and we'd talk for HOURS. I'd be making sure i was looking fresh to death when im on cam, my best shirts on and dictionary resting in my lap.. didnt wanna misspell anything lol... my boy still teases me to about it to this day. Anyways, the more i talked to this woman the more i knew i wanted her till one day she says to me... '' i have something to tell you and I'll understand if you dont want to talk to me anymore''. i was really nervous and thinking not again when she told me the lil boy in the pic she showed me back on the second day was her son and that she didn't know didnt tell me cause she never expected  she would like me this much( her friends had her mind set against Jamaicans lol).
Thats pretty much when i knew i this was real....

We got to know each other even better over the next couple months before Miss idontdatejamaicans would get on a plane and fly to Jamaica to do just that. August will be 5 years since we've been married, our daughter will be 4 years old in october.  Thats my story...

well she had a lil one... mentioned him in the story and then she got pregnant with our daughter not long after we got married so she took a year off after she was born. she started a day care business after which took a while and then we had to get our finance in order to start processing. cant tell you just how much we regret waiting this long!!!

me I was waiting to get my citizenship, wish I had just trust God more and not listen to ppl, hubby would have been here by now. i know what you mean abt the finances that is a rough one
