Waiting I don't think you should bother go see the MP since his interview is scheduled already. God is good just prepare with hubby so  that he aces his interview. I prayed for all of us just now and I expect my miracle this coming week. We are nothing without Christ, so once we put him first, all things will be added. I know not too long from now, we'll all be telling stories about our reunion.

Morning Newbies, I was so suprised when I saw this new thread this morning.....Good stuff Waiting! 

Well, I am so anxious for my baby to get here already....I have been married a year now and sent the application to Mississauga from July of last year and KGN has had it from Sept. 3 and the only thing we got from them was the AOR in Nov.  I have sent numerous emails and the only responded to the first 2 with hubby's file # which does not even work on ECAS. 

I have so many personal things going on with me and I really need and want him here right by my side.  I just came back in Feb, I went for 5 days, our anniversary, but come on KGN you have had the file for 7 months now!!!! 

I too contacted my MP's office and waited a whole 3 weeks for them to  tell me exactly what I already know.  I thought they would contact KGN directly but from high insight I think it was the office in MISS that they contact and they just gave them the information from that they ghave from this end...because I was told to call back in a month and they would contact KGN directly with a letter.

I am praying and hoping that We willalll here something this week to at least ease our minds somewhat.  I mean it is what it is and some of us will get a quick turn around and some of us will have to wait longer but of course we are all hoping for the first one.   The good thing is we are all in the process and the end  have to come that is the good thing!!!  The waiting of course is so difficult but it is so good to have forums like this to ease the stress and anxiety a bit...lol

Nice to see you ladyposh and Irving.  Lets all pray for good news this week! God is on our side. As for me, I try to take comfort in knowing that this usually doesn't take longer thank two years! I know that's a long time but I have to imagine the worst case scenario to maintain some sanity! This forum is really helping as well and it is only the work of the Lord that led me to this site!

I know exactly how you feel. Last year was a rough year for me I needed my husband so badly. All I wanted was to hold him! I never want to relive that experience again and going through tough times apart is even harder!!! Digicel, Skype and text msg don't cut it!!!Come on KG!!!!

Ebonyshine....hubby and I just use Digicel and phonecards becasue he only has use of the computer when he is at work and they cant load skype on it....so the int't mins have been what we are using and I mean we talk about 5-7 times per day now!!!  I have been to JA 6 times in almost 2 years....I really dont want to make another trip before he gets his docs but I guess if I have to I must!!!!YIKES!!!! more money to spends....where will I ever find it? lolol

Good morning all, I'm praying that this week a miracle will be taking place and that atleast 1 family be reunited. Folks, I haven't seen my hubby in 4 yrs. I want to go look for him next month but I'm scared of coming back without him, the trauma of readjusting again and all that. Embassy has his pp so it's like one mind is saying just have a little more patience, and another is saying just go!!!

Oh and I'm also concerned about my daughter too with her readjustment as well, her dad means the world to her and I know she is going to be devasted and angry with me for taking her away from him again. Guys what do you all think? Your thoughts are all welcome. Thanks.

Ramdont...your daughter is in JA with her Dad?  If I am not getting too personal, why have you not seen your hubby in 4 years?  Was it Financial?  that is a mighty long time....You are my hero trust me...if you can go 4 years then I should not complain about the most that I have left is 8 months!!!  Girl, hopefully you wont have to make that trip and he will be here before that but if not then go go go...you deserve more than anyone right now!!!!

My daughter is here with me and reason for separation, immigration red tape on my part. I really really want to go but how would I be able to say goodbye at the airport? That's my concern. You should be hearing from immi soon too my dear don't worry!!! Lets pray even harder !!!!

Ramdont that would be so nice but I was really hoping and wishing he would have made it up before his bday, which by the way was Friday gone MArch 17, but as we can all see did not happen...lol
So now I am hoping before his meds expire in May/June....I will continue to pray and keep my fingers crossed....until then I have decide to begin exercising to loose some of the pounds I have packed on during this whole process...try and keep myself busy until KGN decides to release my huuby into my arms...lol

Ramdont wow! 4 years is a long time! You are my new hero! Has it been that long for your daughter as well? How old is she?The reason I ask is I wonder if she's old enough to understand that this process is beyond your control! I know children have a different way of processing things and sometimes explaining things like that don't matter but I do think you both should go and have some real bonding time as a family. You're long overdue! Who knows maybe you can all come back together! I'm praying for you girl!

Thanks Ebony, my daughter is 7. She's always asking me why we had to leave daddy in Jamaica and that she hates it here and that she wish if we could go back to Jamaica. I was thinking of going the end of April for 2 weeks . His meds expire August 13, 2011!!! So as you said ,if it works out that we do go, I sure pray we could all come back together. Did I mention that they already told him to drop his pp off from Dec last yr.? MP told me they were checking our marriage cer. when I went to them in Feb. and that a scurity clearance was to be done which only took 1mth so girl I'm praying we don't have to go, but if we do go I'm praying that we could all come back together!! O my would that me a dream I've been having for four years now!!  GOD IS good!!!!
