Ladyposh the address on the CAIPS application they are requesting is your address in Canada.
They do request the address also of the visa office abroad beside the option that you will check off... but I do agree that the address that goes in the bottom of the form is your canadian address.... You can look at post for feb 28 (I think) on the other forum for the address where to send it and forms requested... If you have anymore questions let me know... BTW while your sending it your better off checking off the box for the medical file as well... just to make sure that everything is in order with that... BTW ladyposh check the other forum.. So for the first time I got an ECAS tracker update saying this:
We sent you a letter on December 1, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
This is on the Canada side?? Anyone else get an update? I am assuming it's another ECAS glitch but just checking.

lilmaya you are right if this shows up under sponsorship application status which would read decision made then when you click on it you would see:
We sent you a letter on December 1, 2010 about the decision on your application. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
From my understanding Mississauga updates this part of ecas then sends your file to Kingston.... (not sure if this is cause by the migration of the other system or if its because your ecas has just been activated...

lonely_wife: So i guess i should be used to this by now but my status on the sponsorship side already said since early December. Kingston received my file on December 14th so ECAS around that time said application received and medical results received. As with a lot of other people, my medical results disappeared and has never come back.

OMG ! I got the same one... ECAS almost gave me a heartacttack this morning!!! I dont understand why this updated like that... I already know its
all of this ...the highlighted part is the new ecas addition... everything else was aleady there...( this info is all underneath the sponsorship section... not pr app)
my poor young heart... its aging as I write!

I KNOW lilmaya... my alarm went off this morning for work... I usually press snozze 5 times before I actually move, saw on my blackberry that I had 5 email.. checked them, saw ECAS updated.... opened up... got confused... minor heartattack and couldnt get to my computer fast enough. I checked ECAS and looked at it for awhile disappointed and confused.
not fair.
