Hey guys I applied for my student visa to Canada may 13th and it has been 47 days. I have not heard/received anything and I'm kinda getting worried. Does it normally take this long? The website says 28 days for most people but still. Would going to the embassy give me answers or is my information processed elsewhere? Thanks.

are you US ctizen? else what is your status in US?
Do you need to do the midical checkup?

Since it is too long, you can make a phone call to the visa section of the embassy and inquire off.

My mother has her green card and going for citizenship test son and I have a temporary one in the processing of getting a full one as well. According to the website people who have lived in the states and not left the country in more then 6 months do not need a medical checkup. I tried calling the embassy but for reasons unknown they have no live people on the phone and say for any question inquires you must go to the embassy yourself.
