sigh, I submitted my study permit application to NEW YORK consulate about 5 weeks ago and never got any kind of response. I am graduating from my school this weekend and need my passport to leave the US soon, besides the school in canada starts in the beginning of Janurary. What should I do? Should i just keep waiting? thanks!!

i sent them an email yesterday and still waiting for their response. They said they wont reply to the cases within the processing period. I dont know if they mean the "minimum 30 days" processing period or the "6 weeks" period listed on the website. im so confused...
