Hi Friends,

I wanted to post here to look for some advice.  I have been working in Canada since last September on a one year work visa.  I am an Irish national.  I was not going to renew my visa but over the summer I have changed my mind.  However I am processing the application a bit late and as a result, there could be a problem on re-entry.  My current visa expires on Sept 21st.  However my new one year visa is unlikely to be sent to me before then.  I think it will be about the 30th September it will arrive to me by post.  Basically Im just wondering if someone could tell me if I travel to the US, and my first visa has expired by a week or two, would there be a problem coming back in to activate the new visa?  I really appreciate any help - Im not the most experienced in this type of situation Sad

Regards,
Jim
