Hi to everyone.
My Name is Rajneesh and I donot know anything about Canada Immigration Services. My friend had applied for PR and got PR after 8 months from Chandigarh. I work in iSeries Administration ( Power System ) in IBM India at Bangalore. I came to know that this profession does not allow to go to Canada, but I checked there are still job openings with my technology in Canada. Can someone please guide me on it. Also can someone give the details how to process for PR or any nice organization in Bangalore who can assist.
Also it would be nice if someone can calculate my points.

Exp - 7.5 years in iSeries System Administration.
MCA - 3 years - 76% in 2003
BSC Non Medical - 3 years - 75% in 2000
10+2 Non Medical - 2 years 74% in 1997
10th - 10 years 52.5% in 1995
IBM certified system administrator
MCP
 
English - good

My Spouse
House wife
M.Com Commerce - 59% in 2010
B.Com - 66% in 2007
10+2 Arts - 62% in 2004
10th - 70% in 2002
English - ok

Son is 1 year 10 Months old.

Please guide me if i am eligible on points systems or do I need to do something for getting more points.

Hi

First go to this site and see if your Job is given in the List, if not you are not elligible to apply as Federal Skilled worker. But can only apply if you have a Job offer from Canada:

IF your Job is in the List, then check the below website and see if you have performed 80% of the given duties of that particular Job, enter the code you picked from the above List (that represents your job) and enter in the search:

IF you are elligible, then Download and read this guide:

Then take a Test to see if you make the 67 Points:

Then see the Check List for Documents:

This will give you a detailed and clear view of where you stand and what to arrange for.

Unfortunately IT jobs are not in the list. Only if you have a job offer from Canada, then you can apply. And that is tough.
