exodusexpertsgroup(dot)blogspot(dot)com/2011/05/new-spp-rules-regulations-guidelines (dot) html

so this consultancy guys told me to apply under general category as iam having 19 backlogs..

here's my profile:
B.tech bitechnology 55.12% with 19 backlogs including extra credits

6 month online certificate course in biotech from OLI USA  with 76% { this not a diploma or degree , its a free course offered by prestegious american university online]

12th 57%
10th 73%

toefl 91
ielts .. expecting 6.5 or 7

college : centennial
course : 2 yrs biotech technician
fee: 12 lacks

Loan letter : 15 lacks
bank balance certi  : X

so what are my chances... is it true that new spp rules are in effect??
will i be denied visa because of my backlogs??
can i include my 6 month certificate in the spp file to avoid rejection??
did any one got spp visa with huge backlogs since march 2011??

please help me out friends...any help highly appreciated

Hi,

1. Backlogs are 'very important' in considering an applicant academic standing. It show/prove how good you are in studies. Still, there is NO restriction for applying under SPP/General/General (University).

Yeah ! i'v found it..!! backlogs are really a concern in spp !! they need fine quality of profiles under spp !! so second or less quality students are moved to general category.
