Professionals will need a higher IELTS band score to qualify for FSW,  trades people will need a lower band score and more points will be given for high IELTS scores for both.  Older than 30yr.  applicants will get less points for their age.  Experience points will be 15 instead of 21 for 4 years exp. and more years will be added in order to get the 15.

Older,  professional applicants should apply before these changes are implemented.  This is still not 100% oficial but I would not wait until announcement.   What are your opinions?

Yes agreed. We've got few statements by Minister Kenney. CIC is changing the immigration scheme for sure.

I see only one drawback for FSW that's 15 points instead of 21, as per your info -  Would 15 be the maximum for experience or person having more no. of experience would have option to get more points?

It could be 15 points max.  AND more than 4 years needed to get them.

I agree with you. They are all confused. They are talking about youth, most of the youth are unemployed , have not saved the funds they are asking and will not have the necessary experience. Except they want people to borrow the money and make fake experience papers.

They are confused for sure.

How many Ministers, PMs and other Government officials are aware of the situation with the masses and public - in  my opinion zero. They all live in KOOKOOLAND. Maybe, sooner or later there will be elections and another person will maybe sitting in that position, he will have have different views and opinion. Again, they will change the rules. However , the problem at hand will still not/never be resolved, or will it? The new minister will blame the old minister - until someone else will take the position, who in turn will do the same -that's the game, isn't it?

Anyway, lets just sit back and watch how the game goes. The Game is definitely going to come to an end for each one of us including them too - Lose, Draw or Win, it's gotta happen!! Everything must and does come to an end - It is the Law of Nature!!!!!!

Agreed 100%. it's all about political agendas and interests of major lobbies.

Agreed...
if all proposed changes are implemented, then it would be extremely difficult for FSW to achieve 67 points without having relative in Canada or offer letter (job in hand).

Yes, it will be challenging for many to score higher in IELTS. so unfortunate. Let's hope there is real, legitimate and value behind it.
