I heard that the CIC will change some requirement such the number of professions for someone to qualify for an immigrant visa. Does any one know more or less this change will take place? I am a supervisor and under the present rule I qualify for skilled worker. Now, if they change it, I am afraid I will not be able to apply any longer.

Thank you.

Check this:

Occupations with good prospects on 2009 (overall 45):

Also check this:

Good Luck

There will be different priorities for different immigration cases.

Every profession will qualify anyway, but there will be a list of high-demand occupations to be used to assign higher priority to a number of cases.
So applicants should expect to encounter very different processing times depending on their profession.

Further case processing instructions are expected by the end of 2008.

Hi Leon/PMM/other experts,

can u pls explain why the limitations for FSW are coming up?? Is it for faster processing time to reduce backlog of applicants or Canada is now strict as skilled workers in all occupations are not needed???

Can anybody say whats the prospect of the occupation of computer programmar/application developers (NOC 2174)?

Regards
