for new applicants payment can now be made using visacard, mastercard and so on. what that means is that you dont have to look for a bank that can give you canadian dollars draft but you ll just fund your visacard account (which can be opened in any bank/currency)with the equivalent of the fees you are paying and give them the details on the form. please visit www.cic.gc.ac for more details
