Hi there! My employer told me that according to my agency, there are new rules in hiring live-in caregivers from abroad now which was announced last June and will take effect on September 1,2009. Accordingly, there would be no more agency fees to be paid by the applicant, but it would all be shouldered by the employer. They said it would be announced but I don't hear anything from the news, from other nannies, and I can't find anything in the net about it.  So the question is......Is this true?  And what other new rules are there that were announced but unheard of?
