App. Filed.......: April-2010

IELTS Request: 5.5 band in each.

New Delhi Visa Office Application Inventory for skilled worker catagory is
110338 Pre 2008 + 13074 Between 2008 to 2010. = 123412 Total.

Quota for 2011 is 7500.

So, Remaining is 115912 Applications + 2011's  Applicants.

It is too large backlog and it will be clear in next 15 to 20 years approx. if they will grant 7500 visa each year.

Hi,
 We are almost in 2012 so we should be discussing next year (2012) quotas  Roll Eyes. However I agree with u that things are not encouraging for pre-June 2010 and even less for pre-Feb 2008 cases i.e. at current rates the latter might not get visa in their lifetime, while the former would take maybe 2-3 years more.

now inventory is 13074 + 2011 application in ndvo.

Thank God they did decide to cancel all pre-2008 applications, this is there is NOT a pre-2008 backlog. Backlog of 110338 is gone:), this way, of them issuing 7500 visas/year i should be there in Dec 2012. Canada, here i come baby!!!!!!!!!!:)
