As far as I believe they only call for interview in case there is any clarification needed regarding anything. I was called for an interview for some clarification over my master's degree. does it mean that application review and background checks have been done.
By when can i expect the request for medical?
We received your application for permanent residence on July 27, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on September 21, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on September 25, 2009. The New Delhi office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on December 30, 2009.

any idea of how long it might take for the AOR after sending the docs to CHC ND ? i had sent on 21st of dec 09 and it reached on 24th of dec 09 at CHC ND.....

In my case i got medicals, PP demand, RPRF Demand after 2 days from the date it changed to "In Process". May be all checks except secuirty checks were done... CAnt say anything concrete, till my styamped PP arrives.... Best of Luck...  |
