Hi,
I received AOR from NS on 15.10.2009 and planning to file all documents by the end of this year or early 2010. Earlier I applied to NS my own and presently someone suggested me to file own and do not take services of an agent. Please give me advice that I have calculated my 67 points correctly.

1. AGE - 10 (sure)Correct
2. IELTS - 12 (sure)Correct
3. Education - B.com regular and M.com correspondece from Delhi University (22 or 25) - I have taken 25 as nothing is mentioned in the degree of M.com that it is from distance education. 25 points
4. Experience - 21Correct
5. Spouse - 12 years of continue education  + 1.5 years apprenticeship training in a hotel - 3 pointsCorrect

Total I have calculated is 71. Is it correct. Please advice senior members as I want to file my case my own because consultants are charging a big amount.
The above mentioned looks ok. Let others also comment.

hey rocky272727/all seniors.. - anyone out there can answer my query Huh

Hi Rocky27272727/all seniors - pls help...

We are in really big confusion..

We have already submitted all 120 days documents to New Delhi CHC 2 days back. Our 120 days will get finished on Jan 10, 2010..

Now, In next couple of months there is a possibility we might have to travel to UK through my husband's employer. So, while we are in UK, if CHC requests our passports for visa stamping and if we send our passport to New Delhi, CHC - can we stay in UK without our passport (approx 1 month) till the time these passport comes back to us after stamping..

Can you pls let us know, what are possible ways to resolve this issue..

Hi Rockey,
Thanks for reply. Now are you sure that for me there is no need of any agent and I should file my case own. Further, as regards funds, can I make FD of 20,000 CAD and should provide them photocopy of FD alongwith a confirmation letter from bank. Is it fine.
Please advice

I am not an expert into these and I feel that this is a common problem and could happen with any body who regularly need Passport for travelling oveseas and who can not submit passport for 1-2 month.

In my Opinion you have to take Permission in UK or respective country's Indian Consulate or Embassy.

Other how will you send your passport from UK to India? Sending it by courier is also against the law.

I hope others who have faced such problem will reply to this.

Did you search this forum for any solution? I hope somebody already faced and got the answer from here.

Hi All,

Just received a reply to my case specific inquiry today. Its the same standard template stating "Further investigations are necessary in relation with the processing of your application. Therefore, the time needed for the processing of this application has fallen outside the timeframe set out in the AOR letter."

I do not know how do the process some cases in just 1 day and some in not even 40 days.

Hello Hero Members and all,

I am new member. First of all i congratulate all that have got immigration. I have to send all documents soon.

i have few questions. Kindly answer asap.

 1. I have nikahnama which shows small mistake in home address and 1 to 2 years difference in ages of both.
i.e actual age when marriage occur was 28 but mistakenly written 26. Can i send it as it is or i have to get it rectified? marriage occur in 2002.
 2. Can i send bank statement of 1 month? Is it ok? Should i have to keep required funds in the bank until final decision or i can invest it some where?
 3. I don't have my Birth Certificate. Can i send affidavit for this?

Thank you

Hi Rocky272727,

now it is clear that case specific queries are not very helpful. The only option left is to wait. Ordering CAIPS notes may help to get some idea. But again if you order it, it will take atleast 4-6 weeks to get it. Thats why i am reluctant to go for CAIPS notes.

What is feel now is they have set aside our applications for further verification or interview. And the procedure for employment verification may be very slow with CHC ND. i don't know ... i am just guessing.

Hopefully we are destined to get a good news in new year, 2010.

hi iluc

1. not sure, but i recommend u to get it rectified. these things can create a problem.
2. 1 month statement is enough. in fact if u ubmit a balance certificate from ur bank, even that is sufficient.
3. CHC-ND accepts matriculation certificate as dob proof.

hopefully it will clear some of ur doubts at least.

regards.
