No, I haven't received AOR and RPRF Receipt yet.
I have some peace of mind because my ECAS status has already changed to " received by the visa office" , as i already said. I will keep you updated. Thank you

hi Nit4canada, which state is urs in india (as given in the communication address in the cic application)? just wanted to assess if there is a delay in the postal. See one thing here, rocky is in delhi and so he may have got the letter (AOR) immediately. i have given abroad address as communication address. so, may be the delay for me. just wanted to assess ur case and the delay for the reason... breaking my head. we have to get the NEW file number (AOR) assigned by the NDelhi office. Also, we need to get the receipt for the RFRP as it will ONLY help us to claim the money in case of rejection in future (just in case)... pls lemme know..bye,George

Submitted my final documents to CHC New Delhi on 19th Aug 09. The status is showing "In Process" which means they have started the initial processing on Apr 08. I am still waiting for AOR. Initial Processing is when you send your file to Nova Scotia, CPC, CIO Canada. One they approve it then its in process. In this case, since he had sent his file in 2008 to local CHC then it was initial processing in which he has only cleared the eligibility level. Now rest ahead. |

No change in my status too. Any idea when do they actually start processing the application? I have read it on this forum only that once they receive the documents, and open the packet and create a file number then they start processing it from that day.
Anybody on this ?
