Madhava, Hearty Congrats for your visa...... Wish you all the best for your life in Canada. Iam still waiting for medicals and waiting is killing me.

Rocky, I have made up my mind. My application statrted processing on 02nd of November. I am contacting the CHC as soon as 02nd Dec passes. This is because imagine the CHC has sent out the medical request and it got lost on the way in post ( the possibility is remote, i agree). We are obliged to complete the medicals with in 45 days of the date in the medical instructions. The CHC expects we complete the medicals with in the stipulated time. So it is safe that we inform them that we have  not recived any currespondence from them even after 3 months, as suggested in our AOR. I do not think emailing them will delay our case. What do you think about that? please suggest your view on this. Thank you very much...
i am with you on this and i will be also doing the same thing
i totally agree with u rocky.

As per the status explanation if the Status is In Process then it means that they do not seek any additional information from us and have put the file into processing. If the status is Visa office review complete it means that seeking more documentation and letter is sent. Now as yours was In Process but they still wanted information I now really doubt everything stated on the CIC website since they are not going as per the information stated on website. Correct me if I am wrong.

Hi mokshagj15,

Thank you for your kind response. It is nice to learn that you received medicals and PPR at the end of your long wait and that gives immense relief for me. I hope that would be the same results for me, rocky and others waiting long for medicals.

Please clarify, did you get the request for updated information along with your medical results and PPR? Or did you get the update information request first and once you sent them, then only they issued medicals and PPR? What is worrying me is that I have not received any request/ instruction or other currespondences. Please reply and thank you in advance.

Rocky,

I received request for additional docs/re-filling of some forms after process changed to In Process. Specifically, it was along with medical request which was minus PPR. So yes, I do think they ask for docs even in the "In Process" stage.

I dont think there is any Ecas status (for ND at least) to indicate that medicals were sent to us or received from us, except along with the Decision made status. Correct me if Im wrong, but I noticed that most people who get medical+PPR, get sub-stauts on ECAS as "Medicals have been received" to main status "Decision Made". So this is after passport stamping. So really nothing to indicate the whole process between In Process and Decision Made.

Thanks Madhava for prompt reply!

Lw,
U r right!
I dont think they show any updates between in process and decision made!
SO its a long waiting time!
 Nit4canada,
Well in my case only they asked me to send required docs before they sent me meedical request and PPR!
My case was in process since 4th sept. but I received med request on 19th october dated 13rd october.
I received letter from them on 16th or 17th september dated 999 for resending further docs.
I sent them those docs on 21st october which reached them on 22nd october. and then I received med request on 19th october. SO this is my whle scenario.
From this u can assume ur and other ppls case .
Hope it helps,
Ankur

Hi Mokshagj15,

Thank you very much for your response. The good thing about your case is that you have received a response from the CHC after two weeks of your status change, which is a reasonable time. And once you sent the information you received medicals. But in my case there is no response from them after one month which is worrying me.

Hi,LW,

Thank you for your response. Could you please clarify when your status changed to " In Process" and when you received your medicals and further information request? Please reveal the exact dates if you don't mind. That would help me to conclude whether it is quite normal delay on the part of CHC Delhi? Thank you in advance....

Hey Guys - I am in real confusion.

I have applied for FSW PR in JUly 09 and received my file number in Mid September 09. I have to send them my full application (docs) by Jan 10, 2010. I have all the docs ready.

My visa offfice is New Delhi.

Confusion is should I have send them Original Experience letters ? If yes, then anyone pls share their experience when they usually return it ? is this usually back with Passport stamped ? or when ?

Can you pls let me know.....Its really urgent...

Appreciate your quick response..

Hi

You can call the hospital and ask for the tracking number of your Medical Report, which they would have sent by post to CHC Delhi directly.

Thanks
Mohan
