Waiting for Medicals request and passport request yet

I am also eagerly waiting for medicals and passport. why its taking so long time to get any currespondence? I will surely update once i hear from them. Thanks.

Hello All,

ECAS status changed to "In Process" (medical recieved on 12th NOC status changed after app. two days )

Medical is done but reciept and passport did not send yet becasue my wife passport validity is app 1 year as of now .

But ours consultant suggest to go for reissue passport so that validity more than 1 year .

As per consultant ,First visa will be for one year so that passport validity should be at least one year at the time of issuing visa .

so we are tryinh to get passport inTATKAL, but its pathtic ...in govt. office work..still visiting for By hand police verification..
Hopefully it will be completed in this week and will be able to send all doc(reciept and passport ,Landing fees) in next week.

My status got changed on 17th nov 09 to in process and they started processing my file on 9th nov 09. I am yet to receive medicals andf ppt request do not know why new delhi is taking so much time now with medicals and specially with noc 0111 its strange. Anybody has any idea why thus delay

my guess is they are flooded with app under 0111 and 1111. tht's why they r taking so much time to respond. but i  guess it's fine as long as it results in a positive response from them.

It is already 3 months since we have submitted our applications and we have not heard from the CHC Delhi yet. Should we contact the High Commission and request an update and inform them that we have not heard from them. I am seriously thinking about sending them a mail on this coming  Monday (because now it is public holiday for 3 days). What is your opinion? Please share your opinion. Thank you in advance,

see i would have wanted to but since the status changed to in process then its positive and we should wait for sometime i would suggest since serniors and consultants also say contacting chc delays the file or somthing so wait in my opinion good news should  come soon

Tell me that in what circumstances now can the file be rejected that is status can be changed from In Process to decision made before medicals

Share your thoguhts about it just want to know. and also like if the status changed to In Process does it mean that as per the documents I am eligible and now CHC wiull do security check and all  let me know

May be that the CHC Delhi has become more strict now regarding employment verification, background check and security check etc. Because i can see from the posts that some are waiting for a long time for visa stamping aswell after sending passport and medicals, eg Jigna's case. I think CHC Delhi is now taking time and doing thorough chech. I donot think there is any reason to worry and i hope its only a matter of time that we get our medicals

Lets wait till 1st weel of Dec 09. you maybe right in this but some people got there medicals and ppt as soon as they got AOR and even before AOR so if its strict then it has to be strick for everyone right anyways i pray we land in Canada soon

No Rec by Visa office means that they have only rec'd your documents. In Process under the new rule means that they have processed your file and documents and you are eligible for IMMIGRATION conditions applied w.r.t medicals/security/background checks.
