Completed the medicals today. Was a simple process and took only 1 hour for completing the check ups.

My 120 day deadline for ND office is 24 oct 2009
I have not received FBI clearance for spouse yet
Should i submit my application and then send the FBI letter when i get it or should I wait past 120 days
please advice

Hi Hangza,
It was routine physical check up by the doctor, followed by blood and urinalysis with chest Xray and HIV test.
You may refer to IMM 5419 for the detailed explanation, which you may not understand unless you are a doctor or para-medic as the terms mentioned there are greek and latin for layman.

Thanks for sharing the information and nice to know that you have completed the medical formalities smoothly.
How did you manage to get the negatives of photographs for the medicals? Or did you submit only digital photographs with no negatives?
Will the doctor disclose the results of medicals if there is any finding which may hamper immigration?

Hi,
The negative is a must as they will have to keep the same while they do the x-ray with your name and negative in one corner. There is no alternative.
Many studios know this procedure and they keep film cameras as well to fulfill this requirement. What they do is give you a photo print from the digital camera and take another snap immediately after you digital photo capture and develop and give it to you.
Yes, the DMP will discuss if there are any issues w.r.t the check ups. They may ask for a re-test/resample if the result is positive or not clear sometimes, which are very remote. They may not know what is acceptable to CIC/CHC. The DMP told me that if there is any problems in the result, then they will inform the patient accordingly as per their ethics.
No need to worry. Just pray to GOD and proceed for medicals.
