Hi,

I currently have PR status and has sponsored my wife for the same. I have already submitted the passport as request on May 19,2011. The online status says ..In progress from June 28,2011.

Meanwhile I have received a letter saying she need to submit her CSQ ( Quebec Selection Certificate) since I live in Montreal. We have already submitted it.


so my question is..... it is already been 1 month and half we submitted the passport. How much long I should expect to get it returned with stamped?

To clarify:
"You" submitted the passport? OR Your wife received a letter from CHC-ND(?) asking for passport?

CSQ: Are you sure about hard copy request? They are asking for CSQ? It's now been send electronically to the CHC-ND(?).

Our application is "In-process" and I have been to the same process, and they did not ask for CSQ. They (CHC-ND) received it electronically.
You have to wait, our application is now to reach the 6 months mark (in total) and 5 months with CHC-ND.

We have already submitted the passport. They have our passport from May 21,2011. Yes they do ask me for the hard copy of the CSQ.

I have a question for you ... when you say 5months with CHC-ND. Does it mean 5 months from you send your passport to CHC? Also did you receive any request for submission of any other documents from CHC-ND?  Can you tell me  the date they actually started processing your application ( The date mentioned when you click the In progress status and they says we stared processing on Date so and so).

Also how long it is been since you submitted the passport to CHC-ND?
