What exactly did they reply?
They reply Under Canada's immigration legislation, all immigrant applications are subject to statutory requirements, including medical and background checks. These requirements must be satisfied before an applicant may be granted permanent resident status. In this context, certain background investigations are being conducted in connection with your application. As these investigations are conducted by outside agencies, we have no purview over the processing time. We are therefore unable to give an exact time frame in which we expect to conclude the verifications on this case. For now, there is no action required on your part. Please be assured that as soon as the checks are completed the next steps in this application will be determined. Until then, we will not be able to provide any additional information on this case. Delays in the processing of visa applications are always disappointing to all concerned, but rest assured that all efforts are being made to ensure efficient and expeditious processing of all visa applications. We trust that this information will be of assistance. What its mean ? How much more time they will take ? please advice any senior member

Hello Sam12
How did u communicate to CHC ND? I want to mail them also. Can I send a letter to the address to which we sent our DD, PCC, PPs etc. Can I address the letter to the immigration officer? Please let me know if there is any email address as well, and which is the best way.

These are standard replies & do not truly reflect the exact nature of the delay. The reply I got I had posted on the previous page. These are all just standard copy paste replies. Best way to know about your case is to get the CAIPS notes. BTW when had you submitted your passports/medicals?

Best way to communicate for case status inquiries is by e-mail. You can either use the Case Specific Inquiry form available on their website for NDVO: https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhielse send them a direct e-mail to this address: re-delhi-im-enquiry @ international.gc.ca. Do mention your File No., DOB, telephone & complete name in the e-mail.

I don't think these will be useful given the fact that you don't have any control on there internal processes . besides if they have any concerns on your application they will always ask you . So we should wait , given the experiences of other fellow members sometimes they have taken decisions as late as Eleventh month - just before Medicals are going to expire or in certain cases we have to undergo re-medical
