Hey my dear friends,
sorry for the time taken to write my thread regarding my Visa status after my e-cas showing Decision Made.
With grace of god and your warm wishes, Finally yesterday on 5th may (5/5/2011) I got my Passport with Visa stamped on it.
Now I have some questions.......
1) We have to take 13800 CAN $ as POF at time of landing..... so can we take American Dollar instead of CAN $?
Should we have receipt of Dollars that we are purchasing?? ?
Can we ask someone who is coming from Canada or USA to bring dollars?
2) If we are not taking that amt and deposit in NRI / NRO ac than it is valid or not?
3) International licence is valid to exchange for G1 licence over there?

Hi All, Thanks a lot for all the valuable sugestions, I have sent an email to ND VO requesting to acknowledge the passport delivery, waiting eagerly for their reply, will keep you all posted the developments Regards Bindu it is normal, some times they don't en cashed it straight away. you can ask your courier company that who received it in chc . they will provide you the details. courier companies always have those with them. you should send an email to chc if you have any doubt quoting letter and courier receipt number with out any delay. no harm in sending that.

thanks to all of you and i realy wish and pray to god that u all will get visa soon and we all will travel in a same plane in next month.
Dear manish, on visa there is no date for stamping but ya there is a date (03/05/11) on a stamp which was pasted on cover.
Dear krishna, i sent ,my passport & PPR on 29th march and it takes around 34 -36 days to stamp on it and i get back.
Dear Gav, Anil, Dhgohel, tim50, sonir , gireep, indira_prab, I am realy thankful to all of yoiu for yr wishes.
