Many Many Congratulations For the visa. Can u please let me know that after submission of medical furtherance reports How many days CHC took to issue visa. As i also recd medical furtherance in case of my wife and my DMP sent all reports on 04/05/2011 to CHC. Kindly share your time line. Thanks

My online status is still "in process" - just for information.

Hey mehak Timelines are in dhgohels signature. He had his med requests on Nov 4, 2010 and got his visa in May 2011. Thats like 6 months. I kind of freaked out when I saw his timelines after reading your post and now I need to go do something to stabilize this feeling I have in my stomach after reading the dates. B |

My re-medical was done on 12th March, and they have sent after 13 days, so doctor sent my re-medical report onn 25th March... and I got my passport today, and visa was issued on 2nd May as per passport stamp. Thanks for the info, dhgohel. I was freaking out going by the dates you had mentioned in your profile (Med - Nov 4, 2010). So from March 25th, when the meds technically reached the VO and your receiving your visa on May 2nd, it makes 38 days, which is AWESOME by all standards. Guess it would have come earlier were it not for the holidays in between, but alls well that ends well, eh!! Congratulations once again. Cheers! B |

Thanks for the reply. It means that CHC took only 38 days to paste visa on your passport. Calulation of days:- Sent on 25/3 march recd on 26/3. So Six days of March Thirty days of April two Days of May = 38 days My re-medical was done on 12th March, and they have sent after 13 days, so doctor sent my re-medical report onn 25th March... and I got my passport today, and visa was issued on 2nd May as per passport stamp.

Seems to be an ecas error my friend....My suggestion is write an e-mail to CHC ND telling them that your ecas is showing this ...please tell me the current status of the file... hi friends, Since October 2010, my ecas status shows "in process" i.e. We started processing your application on september 6, 2006. Decision has been made on your application and office will contact you concerning the decision. Interview scheduled for october 21, 2010. What is chc new delhi doing about my case?    :(Anybody in same boat then please share.. Regards -Sandeep |

Hey my dear friends,
sorry for the time taken to write my thread regarding my Visa status after my e-cas showing Decision Made.
With grace of god and your warm wishes, Finally yesterday on 5th may (5/5/2011) I got my Passport with Visa stamped on it.
Now I have some questions.......
1) We have to take 13800 CAN $ as POF at time of landing..... so can we take American Dollar instead of CAN $?
Should we have receipt of Dollars that we are purchasing?? ?
Can we ask someone who is coming from Canada or USA to bring dollars?
2) If we are not taking that amt and deposit in NRI / NRO ac than it is valid or not?
3) International licence is valid to exchange for G1 licence over there?

Congrats Brother.....may will try to answer 2 of your questions to the best of my knowledge....dont have much knowledge about licence so wont even touch that..... 1. canadian dollers are required....Yes the officer may as for the receipts of purchase....I will not recommend anyone getting dollars for you from outside... 2.
