For "STUDENT VISA"
pre-meds - 20th november,2010
passport submitted- 30th november,2010
got replied- 24th december (asked for re-medicals)
Had to change the term from winter to summer becoz of re-medicals.
Requested for deferral letter.
submitted deferral letter and passport - 16th feb,2011
re-submitted medicals (everything NORMAL) - 14th march,2011
Term starting on 3rd May,2011
Still "UNDER PROCESS", god knows what they doing uptill now.
@ cooldude10 no one knows with chc nd process...they take their sweet time to process the files.... |

Hay Gav, There are some factors you may need to conside before u start packing: a) Which flight u taking so that u will know how much kg u allowed b) If you are about to get furnished accomodation lot of things u wont need to carry with u like household c) I dont think a lot of cloths will help u there. You will always buy good quality cloths with resonable rate with respect to weather condition. d) I think u will need to validate your degree from here if u really mean to get job at universities (also get a list of all universities from here to find job around the same. If u try you can get good job in teaching there. its not that hard, Just need a lot of information and also if u want to be a teacher there u just need to complete a course there which might be hardly 6 months or a year. as a PR status u wont need to pay much for it) I think this might help u,, the rest you are going to get from Ankit so thats fine BEst wishes,, Kavya |
