Guys .....as told by my friend Nsukan, Please add my details in the table and i guess with your prayers and good wishes i will go green next week....don't know who is managing the table....please do that whoever is doing that.... god bless Gav GAV, All of us can understand your frustration in waiting as we gone through the same. The timelines are case to case different and we can stop comparing. This tracker is only for a rough estimation, as ANKIT said many times. But nothing more than a good wait is possible from our end. Visiting CHC directly may or may not provide the positive result. Are you sure you want to take chances now? I remember in one case, they returned the passport since the applicant asked (with out stamping) and it was to be sent again later for stamping. Your visit may not speed up the process time. I remember, following is your timelines. I have said many times, so may be my words not sound that effective this time.. but brother just cool down and dont think to endup the process for which you have invested 1.5 years.. Like others I would also suggest if you can forget about the immigration process, and just concentrate on other things like you have never applied for Canadaian PR.. You can do this for a while rather than just endup the process..
Cheers brother you have seen nwariach also got the update last week, so who knows may be your turn is also near..

Agreed my friend....thats why i have decided no more wait.......as a matter of fact .......added my details to Ecas tracker.....so that don't have to check cic website either Dude..you cant do that.. I started my case in April 2009. I am still awaiting. My case has delayed due to birth of my child. I have undertaken medicals twice already. Even I have no hope. But I aint gonna go and do any further questioning than to forget and just carry on with my work. The more you expect, the more painful it is. Jus chill and get movin in life man!

Done brother.....par kya karu bhai control nahi hota....u can understand as u yourself are waiting for a long long time....one thing is definitely sure...this is an awesome thread Congrats to all who got their passport back.
Gav, just forget that you have applied for visa... and get into your routine work... once you will be surprised with visa..
I have sent my passport to new delhi chc before 4 months approx. That is because of re-medical...
just sent re-medical result last week, and waiting for visa... we do not have another option...

Sure, I got result before 3 weeks, and my doctor sent after 2 weeks as doctor was out of station... (perhaps bcos of my luck) Remedical was sent before a week, so I hope I should get passport back with visa within a month what do you think? |

Hello guys, My son's PP is expiring on Nov 17th. The canadian visa is also valid upto Nov 17th. I believe that the PP should be valid for atleast 6 months from the date of issue of the ticket. Meaning he has to travel before May 17th (6 months before Nov 17th) Is this rule applicable even though the visa is already issued? Can somebody advice please? I can of course get it renewed, but then, the current PP will be stamped as cancelled and a new PP issued. The new PP will not have the VISA. I am confused.  What if there is a problem at the immigration, if they say that he is travelling on a visa which is on a cancelled PP. Friends, please advice. My advice will be to renew your passport here. Even if your old passport is cancelled, all the visas will be carry forwarded onto your new passport. I have visas of more than 1 country valid for 5+ years in my old and I have renewed mine. All visas from old get carry forwarded. You new passport will have the old passport # and all you need to do is bind it and take both the passports. So CHil.. and have a good time. And hey pray for us |

i m surprised ...how cum bcos of birth of ur child ....ur case has been gone so long......i thought birth of child delays the process
for 2 or 3 months.......can u pls explain what haapened actually..........
Ya dude..my case is long...I submitted my first request to NS I remember in April or May 2009. In Sep 2009 I got a request to submit docs to ND. I did so in end of November 2009. Got request from ND to do medicals for self and spouse in Jan 2010. This is where I made my first mistake. I should have sent the request back saying my wife was pregnant and should have waited. Instead I did my medicals and my wife did all except X Ray. We were blessed with a baby in June 2010. Sent xray for wife and asked CHC to give medical request for child in Jul 2010. It took me a month and half to get baby's passport. I got request to do child medicals in first week of Oct 2010. Did the medicals and sent it. CHC called me in Jan and said my medicals has expired and that I need to re do it. Fine was my answer and I re did my medicals. No news for almost 2 months. Then they called me and said I need to submit new proof of funds. I said FINE. Submitted proof of funds and been waiting ever since. Somewhere down the line.. I guess I need some divine blessing and intervention for my case to go through now. Just been waiting waiting and waiting...At this time.. I don have hope but as I said to Gav.. i am not gonna go worsen my situation. I follow this thread and happy for people who have got their visas. Made some friends and jus hope that my day might come someday. |

Agreed my friend....thats why i have decided no more wait.......as a matter of fact .......added my details to Ecas tracker.....so that don't have to check cic website either
Yeah good on you man.. ab to hamera paas kuch chara hi nahi hai. Jus keep movin.. I watch this thread and happy for people who have got visas. Just hope that my day might come someday. After all hope is not a bad thing.. |
