On e-cas status it is showing Application Received with msg " Your application for permanenct residence received on April 12, 2010...it means 12th april is FTD?

No, it means your app was received by them on this date. After 2-3 months from this date they would have sent you AOR and the ECAS should say, your file was transferred to NEW Delhi CHC on so and so date |

This thread was a great support for me through out my waiting period for VISA I am glad that i got support from all of you, discussing on this forum with everyone gave me an opportunity to know everyone's approach. I was kind of worried that i didn't hired any agent for our file and handled the file myself but we made it at last. Stev |

oh ok.
So when did u send your full documents to CHC
Once the full documents status gets updated to recev by Visa office at that time your FTD will be updated as well.
FTD is generally a week around 1st AOR date. In your case it should be around 30th June

Did u get second AOR
If not then you may want to write to CHC asking if they received the document or not. Generally CHC ND sends second AOR in a month after receiving document. Ecas is updated with FTD and status is Rec by visa office.
