03 Some descrepency in son's DoB, Birth Certificate send on 22nd Oct
04 Second Medicals as New born was added to the application
05 New Passports sent again after correction
06 New born baby medical delay. 
07 reMedical
08 first Medicals on 3rd June, Second on 29th december. Passport req on 21 may, first sent on 04 June and sent again on 30th Dec (recalled to add Son's PP)
09  Working in canada and has requested for a special speed up to return to Canada with VO.
10  First Medical request & passport request - 20th May 2010.Requested for the postponment as they were expecting their first baby
11  Query1 solved and send: 27 nov 2010. Last query (2) solved and send: DEC 15 2010.
12  mailing address missing with ND, sent again
13  got re-medical to spouse  on 21st Jan 2011 ( sputum test, expected to take 45 days more)

You can log in to ECAS from following link
https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en

Provide the required details like DoB, File number, last name etc and you get to ECAS status like RVBO etc
Click on RVBO and you D

it means recipt for your DD , that they have got your money.

NO that simply means nothing, it does not mean Visa gaurantee.  

If an applicant gets  the Visa CHC keeps the fees. If an applicant does not get the visa or decide not to complete the landing after Visa the fees is refunded
