I tried to find where its written that process may be delayed if you put inquiry

but in letter they have written that they ll ask for sending passport back if there is any change in status.

This change won't require CHC to ask for your passports. If i were in your place i would have informed CHC. You can consult Qorax/PMM/Leon, too. Send them a personal message or start a new topic. They will definitely respond.

Hi Stev,
Refer to my mid January posts. I would suggest you to be patient, unless you need your passport immediately for foreign travel. All of you waiting for 100+ days will surely get visas. Why show our desperation to CHC?

1 query. As per FBI my wife's fingerprints are not clear. But i am little confused i gave another personal information also like her ITIN number passport no. etc etc...

Can't they find the background history with those other personal information's ?? Isn't it sounds stupid on thier part??

For eg :-- If in any case for some person his/her fingerprints are not good enough now as compared to when he/she went to USA then how FBI will do background check ??

Is there is  no other way to find them background check apart from finger prints. Doesn't looks silly        ......Can any one has any thoughts/advices on thsi please.

The FBI scan and upload the fingerprints we send.  And all they do is compare it against the database of all convicted criminals in the US and the report just says no report of criminal doing...
this is different from the security and background checks which can be done by any agency using all the publicly available records.  And I don't think they match this with the finger prints taken at port of entry (in the US).

The finger prints can be usually poor for several reasons... working with bleach/ chemicals... lots of household cleaner use can also smoothen the ridges and the fingerprints can be poor or there could be surface cuts or bruises that ruin fingerprints.
but the good news is the skin cells regenerate all the time... so if u could ask ur wife to careful with her hands for a while, apply some moisturizing creams for may be 10 days, the quality of prints will improve and always send more than one copy of the prints.

i got my  Aeo (1231 as a bookkeeper) on 8 june 2010.. and i applied for pr application through my agent in Canada .. application was submitted on 6 dec 2010 with ielts with high proficiency in listening, speaking and reading but moderate in writing ,,, and $550 fee was charged on my credit card on 22 dec 2010... now i m just waiting till now... when i will receive my file no.... and what r the chances...

i sent this enq on 9th and i received the mail from cic on 16th feb.

i just check on the visa date : 17th feb

and they sent me on 21st feb.

so guys do not hasitate and feel free to inquiry about ur status(nothing else).

and ya finally NWARICH u get ur visa soon.

As the name suggests, case specific enquiry is for requesting/sending any information specifically about your case.

Hi Guys from ND
Does anyone has the idea about submitting passport in person in Delhi Visa office in hand for stamping purpose ? Is that possible and how?
Another question is ,when  do we need to inform about the travel history ,going back home from a working country abroad, after receiving PER?
Can the updated travel history be submitted after , once  the visa office asks for PCC, medical request etc. Or do we need to submit as it happens?
