E-cas status is updated on tuesday at arround 1300 IST.
When my case chnaged from RBVO to IN PROCSS, I was regularly checking the E-cas on that day, It happened around that time.

May be you are right we have to see when it stabilizes stev Since the last 3 weeks or so, updates on the e-cas have been happening throughout the week & not just Tuesday. Maybe becoz of the migration happening from CAIPS to GCMS.
Case status on e-cas currently being shown cannot be taken for as the exact status of our file, atleast till the time these changes don't stabilize. Hopefully soon....

Technically you are right That data that is shown on page of ecas is dynamically derived and unless any change is made to structure of a webpage date never changes as data always comes from database not the webpage as its a font-end. The only thing that annoyed me was why structural change to font-end result in ecas data change on same day , as i observed certain people talking on forum that they got medical or visa. Stev Righto !!
