New Delhi Office passport request - at what stage is my application ??

My wife in india whom i am sponsoring got passport request from New Delhi CIC  , i want to know how long does they keep passport, at what stage is my application currently, should i be concerned about anything ?, will they stamp PR visa and send immediately ?

Hi amvk,

Sometimes ND requests PP at the beginning of the process so they might take their time in processing and give you PP back with visa. In some cases, they would ask for PP at the end after doing final review.

Applied to CPC Mississauga - Aug 30, 2011
Recd first letter of sponsor approval and file transferred to New delhi - Nov 10 , 2011
Wife recd letter for passport request- dec 1, 2011

medicals already done and right of landing fee is paid
