1) Travel history to be given in original - the only record of my travel history is the visa and immigration stamped on my passport, how can I then provide the original of this at form submission stage?

2) For all the photocopies of the documents, do I need to get all of them Notary attested?

3) S.no 16 - Notarized employment contract from All employers - I can give this but question is regarding next S. no. 17 - Original and up-to-date letters of reference from all employers: What kind of reference letter needs to be sent? Can I not just send the joining & relieving letter photocopy and Notary attested as given in S. no.15?

better go through docs check list, The only original docs u have to send with applications are Birth Certificate,IELTS, Bank Statement/Certificate and Transcripts...the other papers should be stamp by notary with take effect outside of India stamp.
If u have a travel history then send notarize copy of all of your passports.

Dear All Veterans,

I have some more questions. Thank you Babbu ji, Jaggy ji, Spartan ji in advance.

My Questions:
1) Which out of the above forms & documents need to mailed to CIO in Sydney, Nova Scotia under Stage-1: [CIO stage] Send Initial Apps+Processing Fees to CIO-NS > Eligibility Check > Issue of AOR+120 days Letter >

2) Which are the remaining forms & documents which need to mailed later to New Delhi under Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office


3) Do I need to send only photocopies with Notary attestation of all the documents 9) to 18) or Do I have to send originals?

Please pardon me if my questions are naive and/or very basic.

My online status updated to We started processing your application on May 29, 2012.
I got my Per on 07/Feb/2012 and Aor on 06/March/2012. Almost a month since 29 May.
I have no travel/criminal history and I'm a single applicant.

2. Photocopies need to be only attested as True Copy and not notarized.
3. Reference letters are a must w/o which application maybe refused. Reference letter should be in the below form:
    It can be in any format but should include the below details without fail:
    1.Specific period of employment wid company.
    2.Positions you have held during the period of employment and the time spent in each position.
    3.Main responsibilities and duties in each position.
    4.total annual salary
    5.number of hrs worked per week(it should be greater than 37.5 hrs per week to be considered full time).

Additional docs can include copies of wrk contracts and pay slips.

Also don't forget to need to provide original ref letter and not the photocopy of it........for other work docs u can provide photocopies.

It might be possible give it a try cause you have to fill the form for the personal history for past 10 year, If they find out any thing relating to your previous job then might be little dicey...So its recommended,

Well.....the document checklist(IMM5612) says "Original letters of reference from all employers for past 10 yrs".

But according to me, you can provide ref letters from ur current and previous employer definitely. All employers won't be necessary as well as not feasible

Already mentioned, Birth Certificate have to be original.. if not in English then need a translated copy!!

You can check everything on checklist, they have clearly stated about the docs required in Original

if anything is not clear there then don't feel shy!!
