today i got a call from canadian embassy and they told me for additional test of my wife..they told me that they have send me the letter regarding that but i did not got any...now she is saying she will mail me the same...plz tell me is everything already..why they are asking for extra exam ,how long it will take visa to stamp as its already been 4 months that i have submitted my passports

This is certainly a request via embassy for your wife re medical...So wait for the mail and consult with DMP regarding the case....Your passport will be stamped if they clear your wife medical....

Did your wife earlier had any health issues concerning to TB or any other communicable disease........

Don't wan't to depress you, but it can take another 2-3 months before you get stamped PP back....they will need to ascertain if principal applicant and dependants are admissible on health grounds to Canada.

Chill just complete those tests once u get the mail and all will be fine

there are four stages well explained by qorax

Stage-1: [CIO stage] Send Initial Apps+Processing Fees to CIO-NS > Qualitative Check > Issue of AOR+120 days Letter >

Stage-2: [CHC stage onwards] Send Full Docs+RPRF to the Local Visa Office > File on Queue > e-Cas: "Received by Visa Office" > Eligibility Check+PSDEC > Issue of 2nd AOR > Background Check > Issue of Additional docs Request [if any] > 1st BF'D > e-Cas: "In Process" > Send Addnl. Docs > Issue of Med Request > 2nd BF'D >

Stage-3: Meds Sent > e-Cas: "Medical Results Recd." > Issue of PPR* > Send Passport/s > Security Check > Visa/s Stamped > e-Cas: "Decision Made" >
*The Meds & PPR are sometimes 'clubbed' together.

Stage-4: Return of 'Stamped' Passport/s+COPR > Landing at the POE > e-Cas: "Completed".

there might be some health issue according to CIC standard, U need to get in touch with your DMP and asked him if there was an issue...Rest, U have to what VO is demanding you to do..!! giving you a timescale is not possible coz that's all depends on case to case.

Please remember that this process is for MI1 applicants. Things have changed now.

You need to send the complete application package at one go to CIO. It would include all forms and supporting docs alongwith original IELTS test result. Without any of the reqd docs, your application will be refused.
