Lets make this place happening and place where we can extend our help to others in every way possible within our individual limits and also get some help.. Lemme introduce myself.. Thanks for such nice words ! Umm I have another idea to make this forum a little tuned up... I think we will have few of us taking the responsibilities.. Eg : I can try to sweep on the forums and internet to bring news that can help the new immigrants and get them some knowledge If others can nominate themselves on what they can take up like sharing job vacancies, apartments available on rent etc.. I dunno what all.. just a thought.. Please polish my thoughts Lama you can help us as you are already there \Meateater/ |

Changes to Canadian citizenship guide released

The guidelines for new Canadian citizens have been updated in the country, providing new information about their legal and ethical responsibilities.

Jason Kenney, Canadian Immigration and Multiculturalism Minister outlined on March 14th several changes to Discover Canada, the country's popular study guide used for preparing for citizenship tests.
He stated that the updated study guide further strengthened its content on common Canadian values such as freedom, democracy, human rights, the rule of law and the equality of men and women.
"We expect people who want to become Canadians to have a good understanding of their rights and responsibilities, and the values and institutions that are rooted in Canada's history," said Kenney.
